I cashed out but haven't received my money

As a valued participant of Prolific, you've worked hard contributing to world-changing research, so we get that it can be frustrating when you experience issues receiving cashout.

Luckily, it is usually the case that you are just yet to "claim" your payment from us. To do this, simply check your email from PayPal and follow the instructions to see those riches in your wallet in no time.

 

To claim the payment:

  1. Click the link provided in the email from PayPal.
  2. If you have a PayPal account, Log In. Otherwise, click Sign Up.

If your payment remains unclaimed, or you've accidentally cashed out to the wrong email address, don't worry. Your payment should be automatically returned to us by PayPal after 30 days. After this time, please feel free to contact us and we'd be more than happy return the payment to your Prolific account for you to cash out again.

Please note: We process cashouts on Tuesday and Friday afternoon (GMT). For example, if you cash out on a Wednesday, you will receive your money on Friday. We'd ask that you please wait until after the cash out day to contact us.
